Walkthrough / Control & reliability

Planned

Human-in-the-Loop Automation: the thinking.

Let AI prepare the action. Keep consequential decisions with a human.

The starting point.

What made this worth building.

Automation can create avoidable risk when proposed refunds, account changes, or sensitive updates execute without appropriate oversight.

The direction I chose.

The approach I am proposing.

Evaluate action risk, execute only permitted low-risk work, and route higher-risk proposals through an explicit approval or rejection checkpoint with an audit trail.

How the pieces connect.

Each stage exists because the one before it cannot be trusted on its own.

  1. 01Business trigger
  2. 02Proposed action
  3. 03Risk evaluation
  4. 04Human approval
  5. 05Execution
  6. 06Audit trail

The decisions behind it.

The constraints I set deliberately, and would defend.

  • Bind approval to the specific proposed action.
  • Make rejection a first-class outcome.
  • Keep risk rules and permissions deterministic.

What has to hold true.

How I would know it works — and how I would know it does not.

  • Verify rejected actions never execute.
  • Test missing or expired approval.
  • Check that changes to an action require renewed approval.

Where this stands today.

Stated plainly, with nothing implied.

This is a planned concept. Everything above is design reasoning — no part of it has been built or verified yet.
